Methodist Message January 2025

The January issue of Methodist Message is out!

  • 49th Annual Conference Reports [ETAC, CAC, TRAC] These reports summarise the work of the respective ACs over the course of the year, but this year, they also carry the thoughts of all three past AC Presidents—Rev Philip Abraham, Rev Dr Gregory Goh Nai Lat and Rev Stanley Chua—as their term came to a close at the end of the 12th quadrennium. We wish them God’s guidance and blessings as they each continue to serve as the Lord leads.
  • Three new MOTs share their calling to pastoral ministry
  • It is always a joy to be encouraged by our new MOTs as they share how God has called them to serve in a deeper way. Read the testimonies penned by Pr Esther Yek (Yishun Methodist Mission, CAC), Ps William Stacken (Christalite Methodist Chapel, TRAC) and Pr Tham Wen Chen (Foochow Methodist Church, CAC).
  • Soundings: First things first

A new year is timely for a “deliberate act of self-examination” to determine if our priorities are aligned to how we as Christians should be ordering our lives. Dr Roland Chia delves deeper into Matthew 6:33 and shares his thoughts on what it means to seek the kingdom of God, and his righteousness.
